ich wollte über die Systemsteuerung/Programme und Features alte Programme löschen.
Beim Sichten, was sich alles auf meinem PC befindet, stellte ich fest, das sich folgende
Dateien mehrfach auf meinem PC befinden:
– 2x Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
– 2x Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 (x64) Redistributable
– 4x Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (x64) 9.0.307… Redistributable
– 2x Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (x86) 9.0.307… Redistributable
– 2x Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (x64) 10.0.40… Redistributable
– 2x Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x64) 11.0…. Redistributable
– 2x Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x86) 11.0…. Redistributable
– 1x Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 (x64) 12.0…. Redistributable
– 1x Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 (x86) 12.0…. Redistributable
– 2x Java8 Update25
– 2x Java8 Update25 (64)
– 1x Java(TM) 7 Update 4
– 1x JavaFX 2.1.0
Meine Frage nun an Sie. Sind diese Dateien alle notwendig um mit dem PC arbeiten zu können oder kann ich davon welche Löschen? Vielen Dank für Ihre Bemühungen.

Hallo Herr Föhr,
diese Dateien, die mit „Microsoft Visual C++“ beginnen, wurden von verschiedenen Programmen installiert und werden auch benötigt. Wenn Sie jedoch einige dieser Programme deinstallieren, bleiben die C++-Bibliotheken üblicherweise auf dem System, da sie auch noch von anderen Programmen, die im gleichen Jahr programmiert wurden, benötigt werden.
Wenn auch auf den ersten Blick die Namen doppelt erscheinen – sie sind es nicht, denn sie unterscheiden sich am Ende in x86 (für 32-Bit-Programme) und x64 (für 64-Bit-Programme).
Ein Löschen dieser Bibliotheken bringt nicht viel Platz, da die Namen oft nur Verweise auf die tatsächlichen Dateien sind. Seit Vista gibt es keine Duplikate mehr.
Etwas anders kann die Situation bei Java sein. Java war in der Vergangenheit einer der Spitzenreiter für Sicherheitslücken, so dass man es nur auf dem Rechner haben sollte, wenn es gebraucht wird. Hier genügt es, nur das letzte Update zu behalten, wenn man Java überhaupt braucht. Ob Sie die Version 7 entfernen können, weil Sie die Version 8 schon auf dem Rechner haben, kann nur der Herausgeber des Programms beantworten, das Java bei Ihnen benötigt.
Ich hatte in der Vergangenheit regelmäßig Auseinandersetzungen mit den Programmieren eines Programms, das ich verwenden musste, weil sie eine spezielle alte Version von Java benötigten.
