Ubuntu selbst belegt sehr wenig Platz. Der weitaus meiste Platz wird für Dokumente, also Bilder und Videos benötigt.
Für das nackte Ubuntu 22.04 reichen 20 GB. Dann müssen alle eigenen Dateien in einer anderen Partition gespeichert werden. Wenn man das nicht macht, muss die Partition für Ubuntu entsprechend größer werden:
Die Bilder meiner Kamera (Sony Alpha 59) belegen rund 5 MB pro Bild, wenn ich JPEG als Format wähle. RAW braucht erheblich mehr.
Musik belegt 10,5 MB pro Minute in CD-Qualität
Video als MP4 mit 1080p belegt 3 bis 4 GB pro Stunde.
Was Sie in welchem Format haben, können Sie nur selbst wissen. Das Ausrechnen des Platzbedarfs sollte kein Problem sein. Wichtig ist, Platz für die Zukunft vorzusehen.

Sie haben z.Z. insgesamt 80 GB für Ubuntu zur Verfügung. Wenn es dabei bleibt, teilen Sie auf in
System (root): 30 GB = /
Daten (home): 50 GB = /home

trennen geht nur während der Neuinstallation. Es enstehen 2 Partitionen, beide mit dem Dateisystem EXT4.
Das wird gemacht mit dem im Installationsmedium integrierten Programm GParted.

Um selber Einfluss auf die Partitionierung zu nehmen, müssen Sie am Anfang als Installationsart „Etwas Anderes“ wählen.

Sie können selbst Partitionen anlegen, deren Größe ändern oder mehrere Partitionen für Ubuntu auswählen.

System und Daten trennen bei laufenden Linux. Ist das möglich oder gelingt es nur bei Neuinstallation?
Daraus schließe ich das er es im Betrieb auch durchführen möchte wenn es möglich ist.

Herr Kleemann war heute schon lange vor Ihnen im Club anwesend und hat keine Veranlassung gesehen, in die bereits laufende Diskussion einzugreifen.
Dann gibt es für Sie 100x erst recht keine!
Wenn man neu installiert, macht man es gleich richtig, dann braucht man nachträglich keine umständliche Korrektur. Das kann man vielleicht machen, wenn der Platz in ein paar Monaten wieder knapp wird, aber nicht jetzt!!
Sie würden einem Nichtschwimmer wahrscheinlich auch eine Anleitung schicken, wie man durchs Mittelmeer schwimmt, nur weil er wissen möchte, wie man das macht.
Im Übrigen ist „Ihre“ Anleitung eine Zumutung. Wer weiß, ob Sie …
So eine Anleitung verlinkt man erst gar nicht, sondern überzeugt den TO allenfalls davon, dass der andere Weg immer noch der einfachere für ihn ist.
Damit hatte ich schon begonnen, falls es Ihnen entgangen ist.

Ich danke allen Helfern, die so fleißig mitgearbeitet haben, um mein Problem zu lösen. Nun habe ich Ubuntu neu installiert mit einer Größe von 94, 10 Gigabyte. Ein neues Problem ist aufgetreten, denn ich habe noch 2 Partitionen 30,38 und 49,43 NTFS. Um Ordnung zu haben möchte ich beide zu C:/ zu schlagen. Mit Datenträgerverwaltung geht es leider nicht. Was muss ich tun, damit es funktioniert? Löschen, formatieren. Oder???

Zwischen Ihrer C Partition und den beiden genannten befindet sich Ubuntu, folglich können Sie C nicht mit den beiden Partitionen vergrößern.
Mein Vorschlag wäre alles Rechts von Acer C zu löschen, dann können Sie C um 75 GB erweitern mit der Dateenträgerverwaltung, dafür muss alles rechts von C „nicht zugeordnet“ sein mit der Farbe Schwarz.
Danach müssten Sie Ubuntu leider wieder neu installieren, da Sie es ja vorher gelöscht haben.
Aber Achtung, wenn Sie meinen Vorschlag machen möchten muss als allererstes der Master Boot Record der Festplatte mit Windows neu geschrieben werden, damit nicht GRUB, sondern Windows starten kann.

entweder Sie räumen die Platte auf oder Sie fügen den freien Platz als Verzeichnis in C: ein. Das sollte von der Datenträgerverwaltung angeboten werden. Die Verzeichnisse können Sie dann so benutzen wie sie sind. Wahlweise können Sie auch einem Verzeichnis als Abkürzung für den Zugriff einen Laufwerksbuchstaben geben.

er soll am besten alles so lassen wie es jetzt ist. Sonst macht er sich noch kaputt, was er bisher schon erreicht hat. Er hat ja auch die Trennung von System und Daten nicht geschafft.

das Einhängen der 30,83 und der 49,43 GB großen Partitionen als Verzeichnis in C: ändert nichts an der Platte. Damit kann man nichts kaputt machen. Auch mit dem Kommando subst zum Zuordnen eines Laufwerksbuchstabens zu einem Verzeichniss kann man keinen Schaden anrichten.

er wünscht sich primär mehr Ordnung auf der Platte. Die bekommt er mit Ihrem Vorschlag nicht.
Ordnung schaffen würde bedeuten: viel Arbeit und Risiken.
Aber warum ihm nicht das Kommando subst erklären?

Hallo Li,
wie die Platte unterteilt ist, sieht man ja nur in diskmgmt.msc (Windows) und Laufwerke (Ubuntu). Diese Programme muss man ja nur ganz selten aufrufen. Die Unterteilung der Platte ist nur für die Betriebssysteme relevant, nicht für Anwender.
Abel kann die leeren Partitionen als Verzeichnis in C: einrichten ohne Laufwerksbuchstaben zu verwenden. Die Verwendung geht dann genau so wie in Linux. Laufwerksbuchstaben sind nur eine Abkürzung zu (tief verschachtelten) Verzeichnissen. Wenn Abel davon Gebrauch machen will, soll er sich hier melden.
