Issue: In case of UI frontend (e.g. XSane), the UI may freeze during exit if cancel operation is not yet completed (remaining sheets are still being ejected). If "Force quit" is clicked, the device will stop ejecting the sheets and will require restart before scanning again. Solution: To avoid the issue, do not close the application while sheets are being ejected. If the UI freezes during exit, do not force quit. If the issue occurs, restart the device before attempting to scan again. 2. Issue: When cover is opened, it takes time (about 30 seconds) to display the error. Solution: The issue recovers by itself. After the error is displayed, it is possible to scan again. 3. Issue: When scan is performed from DP using XSane, image is discolored (slightly blue). This issue is application-specific and only occurs in Debian OS. Solution: Use a different frontend application (e.g. scanimage), or scan using platen instead of DP. 4. Issue: Simultaneous connections to the device are not supported and may cause unexpected behavior. Some applications with multiple document support may attempt to perform simultaneous connection. Solution: If the device becomes undetectable, restart the application. If the problem persists, restart the MFP device to restore normal operation. 5. Issue: On certain applications, termination of SANE driver may not be properly implemented. In such cases, the connection to the device will not be terminated and the panel status will remain as "Scanning..". Solution: Even if the device panel shows "Scanning...", it is possible to perform succeeding scan operations. The device panel will restore to "Ready" when the SANE frontend performs correct termination in succeeding operations. To immediately restore the "Ready" status on the device panel, restart the MFP device. 6. Issue: When Full Color is selected in Color mode, then only 300dpi is maximum resolution in TASKalfa 1800/TASKalfa 2200/TASKalfa 1801/TASKalfa 2201. Solution: If Full Color and more than 300dpi are able to select in some application, scanning is started as 300dpi.
