Ich wollte im Ubuntu Software-Center etwas herunter laden,doch kurz nach beginn des Ladevorgang kam die Meldung:

Hallo Herr Burg,
Sie verwenden Ubuntu 12.10, diese Version wird seit Mai 2014 nicht mehr unterstützt, auch die Paketarchive sind abgeschaltet. Sie sollten ein Update auf eine neuere Version vornehmen, entweder die mit Langzeitunterstützung,d as ist die 14.04 oder die ganz aktuelle 14.10.
Am einfachsten ist das Update über das starten des Rechners von einem Installationsmedium, alte Ubuntuversionen werden entdeckt und das Upgrade angeboten, dabei bleiben alle Dateien erhalten und Einstellungen so fern möglich.
